ABSTRACT
AIM:
The
main objective of this project is to develop an embedded system, in which
electrical apparatus is controlled through wireless using zigbee.
IMPLEMENTATION:
This project is implemented 8051
based at89s52 developed board intezigbeeaced with zigbee tx, zigbee rx,
encoder, decoder, dc fan, led and relay.

DESCRIPTION:
Now a day’s so many useful technologies are coming out to make our
life style more comfort, luxurious and secure. With advancements in
technologies now we are able to design more user friendly systems with low
cost.
Now a day’s users expecting smart products
with more innovation, creativity, user friendly and security, etc. So in this
project we are designing a system to control electrical appliances in home or
office or industry just by giving a smart touch on image of the respective load
and these images are displayed on the tft lcd for more clarity of the picture.
The major components used in the project
are capacitive based touch screen module, tft lcd and atmel based at89s52 8 bit
micro controller.
The communication between touch screen
module and micro controller is done through uart protocol and we will store the
images binary data in micro controller memory and send this data to tft lcd
through tft lcd data lines and control lines.
Automation
is controlling of light, climate, doors and window shutters and many more which
we can control manually in our daily life. In this project we are going to
develop an embedded system, which will control all these devices through pc
which are soldered on the zigbee transmitting board.
In
this project we are using at89s52 microcontroller for monitoring the equipments
in the industries. Working procedure of our project is that we have two
embedded systems circuit boards one to transmit the commands and the other is
used to receive the commands to monitor devices which are connected to our
receiving board to whom we are planning to operate.
This
project mainly contains two sections among which one section has
microcontroller through encoder and zigbee module transmitter. The zigbee
transmitter section transmits the address/data bits to the receiver section.
This address/data from zigbee receiver is decoded in decoder. The decoder
receives serial address and data from that series of encoders that are
transmitted by a carrier using an zigbee, the input data codes are decoded and
then transferred to the microcontroller and the controller will either turn
on/off light and dc fan through relays.
The system uses a compact circuitry
built around flash version of at89s52 microcontroller with a non-volatile
memory capable of retaining the password data for over ten years. The user can
modify the password. Programs are developed in embedded c. Isp is used to dump the code into the
microcontroller
Tft lcd (thin film transistor liquid
crystal display) is a variant of liquid crystal display (lcd) which uses
thin-film transistor (tft) technology to improve image qualities such as
addressability and contrast. Tft lcd is an active matrix lcd, in contrast to
passive matrix lcds or simple, direct-driven lcds with a few segments.
This is very safe and secure and also we
can control many loads without getting confused by adding names or images in
the application.
